About Us
The Escarpment Club is a family run, member focussed travelling winter sports club. It was re-named in 2014 from "The Southern Ontario SkiBees" to become "The Escarpment Club". The new name is a reflection of both where we meet and what makes this area a great destination for people who love getting outdoors anytime of the year.
Cindy & Ian MacCulloch
Cindy & Ian moved to Collingwood from Toronto with their three children and are lifelong skiers. They have both raced, taught and travelled the world to ski and love to share their enthusiasm for winter sports and experiences with others.
With new faces come new ideas, the most visible of which is the name change from the Ski Bees to The Escarpment Club. We will be exploring ways to enhance the members experience on, and off, the ski hill. The first big change was the re-introduction of Club Trips, so far we've had member trips to Colorado, Europe and Western Canada. We will also look at new programs, possibly expanding into other activities that members are interested in pursuing.
Cindy is the daughter of Nancy Dickinson, the original founder of the Southern Ontario Ski Bees. Nancy handed the reins over to Cindy during the 2013-2014 season so that she will have more time to travel.
